Yours does not sound so much like my Saturday mail problem at all. I suspect my ISP had problem with mail servers as web access seemed normal. The ISP's web site includes a window disigned to inform subscribers about problems, upgrade schedules, etc. But, no word there. Other services by the company also are "temporarily" suspended. Then, late Saturday, my mailbox overflowed with bounced messages containing animation.
So, on Sunday, after zero contact except with the LinkOnLine sales department that promised to intercede, I called my first ever ISP, The Grid.net about mid-day and Tech Support's Nick answered on the first ring. I said, "I'm back" and immediately established an account.
The lesson here is that I'll check for support once-in-awhile, just make sure it will be there when needed. I'm lucky this was not an expensive lesson. |
