AMD certainly is a cyclical stock and to make profits on them you have to buy at the lows and sell at highs. Certianly if you want to hold a stock for a very long time there are better stocks out there. However if you take some risks the rewards can be great. My comments were directed to Willeit who made comment that made little sense. I congradualate on your portfolio's return. However I do not agree with your opinion that AMD is going to fizzle shortly after the release of the K6.
