Hi. Thoughts on VLNC options?

I'm new to this thread, but not to SI or stock investments. Wonder if you could take a look at the put:call ratio on VLNC (Valence Technology). It's extremely lopsided in favor of calls, something like 20:1. I know that a high put:call ratio is generally bearish (unless you're a contrarian), but can the same be said about a low put:call ratio, being bullish?

The company expects to deliver lithium/polymer batteries in the 1st Qtr 1998, so there appears to be a lot of open interest in Feb and Mar options.

In your experience, can you read anything of this? I don't do options as my timing basiacally sucks with investing. But, I ususally am pretty good at picking winners and sticking by them.

Thanks for any insight you or anyone else on this thread can reveal.
