I would suggest you start here: intelligentspeculator.com Then read a lot. There are some good books on the ISPEC site. Then learn as much as you can about indices.....then paper trade for a few months...then go live. Of course, there are a lot of commodities or futures you can choose. This thread is mainly the SPOOS, or S&P 500 Futures...but that is not to the exclusion of anything else, it just rarely comes up. Ask questions.....and go nuts....but save your capital till you are sure you are ready. I am sure many of the others here are more qualified to offer suggestions and opinions so I will let them chime in.....
