RTev: One of your more rational posts. The monopoly question is a joke. MSFT is a monopoly by default-AAPL has never attempted to port to an INTC chip. DR had the head start back when and couldn't keep up. SUNW wants their version and their slow version of Java alone to be the lingua franca of the computer world. IBM just flat out quit. MSFT did all it could and made a pretty penny doing so keeping AAPL in the game to avoid the brand of monopolist. Speaking of that cash infusion and promise to support Mac Office it wasn't too much to ask AAPL to support IE as they did. As it turned out this was no real concession on AAPL's part but rather a boon as IE is better than NSCP and has a company committed to keeping IE in the forefront. As I said in other posts this could be a whole new way to compete. Give up the field of play and then complain to the referee that the other guy cheated at some later date. JFD
