Well, they are sending me a new machine in the next three days - if it isn't the machine I will mention the BIOS - what exactly does that involve? They did go into the Device Manager and delete and reinstall something under the USB but that didn't help. No one mentioned anything about BIOS, but the rep I spoke to said that under the Device Manager there should have been some lines that say DOT something or other and they are not there - this is why she first thought it was the software and then when we installed new software and it still was missing these lines she came to the conclusion that it was the actual machine that was faulty. We shall see.
