Re: Musings They just dumped mobile 3.0in product, which is another IBM focus. Sure don't need to buy more desktop mfg capacity. There is a real need for a $75 2GB unit for sub-500 in big volume. I remember when you paid that for a bloody 1.44 floppy drive! Doesn't have to be a speed demon, as QNTM proved with BigFoot. Another area might be cartridge drives. Could pick up Syquest cheap (market cap is only 200 million or so) and give Iomega a run for their money. That would give Motley a lot to write about. I can't help but look for something that takes advantage of their relatively strong distribution and the unmet low end need. Probably a good thang it ain't me directing that money.
