Geoff, I don't know that Obama's economics are in favor of "wealth distribution". I know he wants to eliminate Bush's "needless" tax cuts, but I don't think that amounts to some kinda Leninist redistribution. McCain isn't giving any "hard numbers" either on his stuff. When we get to the actual debates then maybe we can get a handle on how each of these guys plans to do stuff. If your remark about Obama "refusing an honest offer of debate" refers to his avoiding the continuous town hall meetings that McCain brought up, then I'd have to say that Obama would have been an IDIOT to accept them. They would have given McCain an EQUAL stage regardless of financial resources and eliminated Obama's strongest advantage. If the situations had been reversed I'm sure McCain would have played EVERYTHING exactly as Obama has.
