MedCom USA Inc. Announces Contract with DVI
Communications

IRVINE, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--March 2, 2000--MedCom USA Inc. (Nasdaq:EMED
- news) Thursday announced that it has signed a consulting agreement with DVI Communications, a provider of
high-technology business solutions, specializing in information processing, telecommunications and information security.

DVI will assist with the expansion and coordination of the MedCard System's communication infrastructure. DVI's client list is
comprised of a vast array of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. They have recently completed comprehensive
technology projects for American Express, Merrill Lynch and CitiGroup, as well as hospital associated and physician
associated networks, (i.e. Montenet), Motefiore Medical Center, Mt. Sinai Medical Center and St. Vincent's Medical Center.

``We recognize that technology systems are mission-critical components of our day to day operations, and as such, these must
be designed and implemented with the proper coordination and care to ensure a smooth and successful expansion. DVI has the
