OPTX International and TMX Japan Ltd. Produce Japanese Version of ScreenWatch Software; TMX Resells ScreenWatch to Japanese Market
CHICO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 2002--OPTX International expands the market for its ScreenWatch(TM) Software in Japan through a reseller agreement with TMX Japan, Ltd. ScreenWatch is the only scalable screen recording solution that combines video and audio with applications, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and whiteboard content in real-time for streaming. ScreenWatch provides crisp, professional results in perfect quality over low bandwidths. OPTX targets corporations, universities, and secondary educational institutions with its ScreenWatch software. Both ScreenWatch and TMX focus on the streaming media market and have agreed to a collaborative effort to create a Japanese version of ScreenWatch Producer(TM).
TMX specializes in sales of technical streaming products to educational and enterprise markets for Web-based training or online media presentations. In business since 1987, TMX represents American and European companies such as America's Ampex Corporation, SONY of America, and Germany's FAST Multimedia AG, and BASF.

Both bundles include ScreenWatch Producer(TM) Software, RealProducer and Windows media encoder. The Workplace Communicator also includes a microphone/Webcam combination. Besides the software and encoder, the Classroom Edition bundle also includes a wireless microphone and Virtual Ink's mimio(R), which attaches to any whiteboard and electronically captures anything written or drawn to a computer in color and real-time.
