Mark,

First let me state each of the thin client Vendors have good product. It would take me a long time to explain all the differences. I will give you my feeling on the market.

Fact: Citrix Software up till now has been driving the market.

Fact:: Unix/SCO will come out starting this quarter to increase demand and increase the market.

Fact: Microsoft slowed progress with delays, announcements, and when the Hydra/T-Share software is available --thin client and CE terminals will increase.

Fact: Java will have an impact on the market--no matter what some say.

Fact: Thin clients are being considered in many, many major companies--BUT--not being implemented in quanities as expected. I look for the first half of next year to really kick things off.

Fact: Many new players are coming into the market (manufacturers---suppliers) this will increase demand.

Fact: Wyse, Boundless has most of the text terminal market and many changes will be made in the next few years--again increase in demand.

Fact: Wyse, Boundless NCD and Neoware are receiving "split" recognition in the market place.

Fact: Not enough volume to go around to produce the results everyone needs.

Fact: Most of the manufacturers have poor marketing and really don't understand the channel.

Mark, I could go on and on, but results--shake outs-and leaders will be forthcoming in this market over the next six to twelve months.

BIG "O"

P.S. Nothing is FREE in this market.
