The Hizbullah boss already said [in so many words] that they lost the last battle, in the sense that if they had known Israel would go so berserk, causing so much damage, they wouldn't have done the attack and kidnapping which led directly to Israel's very large response: < Israel didn't fight the last war well, yet Hizbullah still lost, though of course they claimed victory. Plus dragging Lebanon into war again will only lower Hizbullah's already low popularity inside Lebanon. >

Perhaps there was a pro forma declaration of victory but their heart wasn't in it.

PS: How to spell "Hizballah"? Google has different counts and Hizbullah gets most, but Allah being the main man it seems it should be with an a, not u or o. The i can turn into an e too.
