This is a courageous move that moderates appreciate.

Gag me with a spoon, who is paying off Brooks to spout such nonsense? Obama is promising to pay for a trillion dollar program by eliminating "waste, fraud and abuse". Courageous move, my foot. And Obama is still trying to paper over the public option question by tossing rhetoric to both sides. How many months in are we, and still no idea what a final bill would look like, even in outline? Except it will involve massive new federal bureaucracies. That's the only part we can be sure about.

And Obama is still giving about a speech per day. How long before the general public recognizes that Barack Obama is a newsreader, not a leader? He'd make a good anchorman.
