Thanks much for clipping the article from Barron,s on REG S financing. Very interesting and certainly something to keep in mind relative to evaluating this company.

There is also the matter of the 5 class action suits filed in February and March 1997 against the Company and certain of its present and former directors and executive officers. Latest 10Q says "These actions are at an early procedural stage."

AP Newswire had this to say about Friday's House Commerce subcommittee hearing:

"ENERGY DEPT. PROBED ON FUND RAISING WASHINGTON (AP) - A top Energy Department official is defending a decision to expand a contract with a company that donated thousands to the Democratic Party. In testimony before a House panel today, Gerald Boyd said the increase in the contract was influenced by technology, and not politics. Boyd said Molten Metal Technology developed a way to clean up hazardous wastes, and that's why its contract was expanded from $1 million to $33 million between 1993 and 1996. Boyd says the company's donation of more than $62,000 to the Democratic Party was not a factor."
