Pittman's admitting AOL to be inferior technology yet a name brand is exactly reflected in the push-pull situation in its stock price. True, inferiority often brings more success. MSFT is inferior to AAPL's technology, yet... The country is run by C-students.... etc.
Granted. But there is a difference. Would you be proud to tell people that you're AOL subscriber? I have heard so many jokes about those question like "how do I delete a file under DOS" type of questions in AOL chat room. I guess all AOLers do was to click the mouse and all files will disappear.

I reiterate my view that CSRV has the best infrastructure and is the only one that would be technologically viable. NSCP should go and buy it and then focus on the corporate intranets. From city to city, country to country, CSRV has the speed and reliability.
The WWW will prevail. Somebody will come out with "self-organization" software to sort through all the mess on the net. AOL's hyping is only wasting its borrowed time. You think AOL's is a name brand?
Think again.
