Yea, it seemed really strange....out of no where came this strange cult. It would be funny if it weren't so serious. Here they are fabricating this fantastical story much like kids do and then someone comes along and pops the bubble.

On 360, Anderson Cooper has been interviewing this reporter.....Michael Ware, an Aussie. He's been in Iraq since the beginning of the war and is very outspoken, and of course, a bit strange.....anyone staying in Iraq since 2003 has to be rather peculiar. But to listen to him......you realize how farcial this war really is.....even more so than we think. For an example, the Anbar region has declared itself to be a separate state from Iraq.....and is in the process of setting up a shadow gov't. How many times have we heard that in the press or from Bush? This is a huge section of the country that considers itself to be separate from the rest. And as for the surge, Ware says its the biggest joke......back in Baghdad, the Iraqis are laughing about it and expect little change from the status quo. They don't understand why Americans don't object more strenuously to Bush's stupidities.

For me, it brings into question what really is the US of A. Are we this great democracy that wants to bring order to the world......or are we some parts Oceania from Orwell's 1984 fighting with other nations to insure our position in the world order. Do we really know the truth about what is happening, or are we fed doublespeak from the ministry of truth and the press......except when the truth won't provide us useful info? Watching this war play out is very disheartening to say the least.
