Can you point me to what his logic and analysis is? I must have missed.

I think what he did was to assume a logistic curve (not great, but not a very bad assumption either) and then he moved on to fit the data within a specific curve and time scale (a terrible idea - as they say in court, it presumes the guilt).

Anyway, it is easy to validate how good his prediction is. Read off the next 2 or 3 numbers and compare them to the reports. E.g. he is predicting 100k by the end of 29th. I am predicting 170k by then.
