You are right, PERFORMANCE (or execution) is the key. However the pending qualifications in the 2.8 and 3.4 area will indicate performance and will demonstrate to WDC that they don't have to rely on IBM
also these quals (the revenue they will bring) will keep RDRT financially strong for contest over GMR in 1999
