That was a hypothetical split, and if that were the split I would guess that Office would go to the office division and Works would go to the home division. There are plenty of other ways that the company could be split. Perhaps it should be split into more like 10 or 15 companies. Someone other than me would have to make that call.

The one thing I definitely believe is that the shareholders will not be harmed by a split up, and neither will consumers.

Note, I also have licensed copies of Office at both home and work, but mine are Office 95. I have several legal copies of Works but don't consider it to be useful for anything.
