This is the simple answer to all of these requests by the not-common-sense Democrats. 1. No spouses should be allowed to fly on "official business with Congressman". Spouses are not elected to serve and vote----only the elected officials vote. 2. What is the purpose of Webb's trip that to Southeast Asia? Is it business for the USA? Is it a pleasure jaunt? Is it necessary. Why should taxpayers support this trip with official government escort? 3. Both parents flying together with the child puts the whole family at risk in case of an airplane crash--------"not-common-sense". Many scenarios: Parents killed, child survives--then what.
