Price of Pakistani mutton 'will not go up'

Dubai: Residents who have complained about the rising price of Pakistani mutton have been reassured that the price is not expected to go up despite shortages.

The representative of a meat supplier told Gulf News that despite the shortage of Pakistani mutton, its price was "under control" and not likely to go up "for the time being".

Lifting ban

"The last time the price of Pakistani mutton went up was about 15 days ago by about Dh1, and it is not likely to go up again any time soon," said, Nowshad T.K, General Manager of Al Tayyeb Meats.
