Big Oil hides supply and lie about it. In 2000-2001 Big Oil (using Cheney as their main mouthpiece) stated that we had a dire shortage and needed many new refineries or else prices would continue going way up. All of a sudden Jeffords switched parties and gave Democrasts subpoena powers. Gas prices plummeted the next day and an energy glut was announced. Too much supply. Same thing happened after Katrina when oil CEO's were called in to testify before congress. This is proof they are lying. Plus here in California we know about their conspiracy to close down a large refinery in order to tighten supplies.
