Westi: I join with you also. I truly believe that God will heal Petey. I have a very similar situation in my own family. A family member was healed of leukemia. I heard him promise God that he would testify in church if God healed him. That was 7 years ago and he never did. Recently he fell and broke his hip. He is in quite a bit of pain now but healing.. I visited him and offered to pray for him. He reached out and grabbed my hand and was just squeezing as hard as he could . He was praying as hard as he physically could. I just know God honored that prayer and gets a thrill out of healing him. Funny that you should mention the prodigal son. It seems that this is a very similar situation with one brother being very faithful all along and the other following his own devices. I dont think that the faithful son ever quite understood the Father delight in the return of the wayward son. But I do understand the concept of grace , the concept of not by works lest any man should boast. I'll admit I still have a gap between understanding the concept and applying that concept.In Christ ....gregor
