That's plain old nuts. Europe would be under total control of an evil Nazi empire, and most of Asia would be under control of a brutal imperialistic regime. Even if both powers spared America, they would not let America prosper in any respect whatsoever.


True. Unfortunately we have becomes much more militaristic since that war.

Isolationism is a pipe dream. Peace does not come by avoiding conflict whenever you think it's convenient. All you end up doing is expanding the influence of those who want to do you harm.

There is a big difference between isolationism and minding your own business. We don't need to be in Iraq nor do we need to be in Afghanistan.
