The biggest mortality target is men, especially those between the ages of 40 and 64. Female rats don't die of SARS, until they're injected with testosterone, then they die of SARS at the same rate as male rats. No one knows why. It has nothing to do with a pill. . Over the past 30 years I've seen more than 100 sure-fire cures for HIV with similar cult-like followings. More than 90% never proved themselves out in trials. And the cult-like followers? After the trials, most actually continued to believe in their miracle treatment in spite of incredibly compelling evidence to the contrary ! ! ! — This is typical human pandemic panic behavior. They're not rational. Trump is just one of the many cows in a panic with a magical belief in a particular pill because friends without qualifications sold him on it, and because it makes him fell like he has some control over something he now has little control over. If joining Trump's pill-cult makes you feel more in control, fine. But understand that people outside of your religion are not going to believe until there's blind trial proof, currently being done. . Many researchers in Australia are equally excited about using the tuberculosis vaccine as a therapy, but until the trials of that vaccine are complete, we have no more evidence than we have for malaria drugs or any of the other 100 or so existing drugs currently being used as treatment in trials. Trump doesn't even have a hint of how much he doesn't know. Believing fervently in one of a hundred drugs in trials gives Trump feelings of control over a situation he has very little control over, having ignored necessary preparations in January.
