The climate pessimists didn't predict things like 3mm per year of rising. Or how about your talk of the Earth becoming like Venus... Ice in arctic seas also is melting faster than expected. An ice in arctic seas is already displacing water. If it melts it doesn't cause a sea level rise. Ice on land melting would, but the antarctic may actually be accumulating more ice.
