I'm all for beginning the cuts by stopping the grants. We don't need to fund ACORN and organizations of its ilk. If Soros and Teresa Heinz want to fund such organizations, let them do it with their own money.

We also don't want the President able to direct taxpayer monies for his personal political use, such as to advance his health care plans while his administration threatens other taxpayers who oppose his plans or wish to address their potential effects with the public.

Or the use of public funds to control the marketplace of ideas as in 100 per cent taxes on radio stations to fund public radio, which can then be controlled by Democrat statists.

Yep. Let's cut out the unessential and make a government career less appealing for the power drunk and greedy.
