Dollar Rises Versus Yen on Japan Terror Alert, Currency Policy
Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- The dollar rose the most in 17 months against the yen after Japan's finance ministry said it may keep selling the currency and Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's government raised its terrorism alert.

The dollar also climbed to the highest in six weeks versus the euro after European Central Bank council member Klaus Liebscher said it's ``always possible'' the bank will sell its currency to stem a two-year advance that has cut demand for exports and slowed economic growth.
