Director of Audio Algorithm Speech Recognition and Speech Enhancement (Job ID: 12383)

We are looking for experienced and talented hands-on Algorithm Director to lead the algorithm audio team and develop algorithms for speech signal enhancement, noise suppression and acoustic echo cancellation, and speech recognition. The successful candidate should be familiar with analyzing and developing classification algorithms, time-frequency representations, noise suppression algorithm, echo cancellation algorithms, and experience in human auditory models applied to speech and audio processing. Experience in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), audio context classification. Experience in managing teams noise suppression, echo cancellation algorithm, ASR, and in cell phone market is required.
Requirements:
- Experience leading Algorithm teams in the domain of audio and speech processing
- Working knowledge with speech processing, noise suppression, Automatic speech recognition, classification of audio context and sources, auditory scene analysis, beam-forming, generalized side lobe canceler, frequency analysis, auditory pathway
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative algorithms and lead highly talented team members through the innovation and productization process
- Ability to take into account fixed-point and DSP constraints without affecting the algorithm performance
- Proficient in C and Matlab, DSP assembly
- PhD/MS on EE/CE/Math/Physics; 10+ years related experience
Senior/Principal Digital IC Design Engineers (Job ID: 12410) Job Description: - Define, architect, specify, design, verify through simulation, synthesize, P&R layout support, and validate silicon for leading edge sensor products.
- Mentor junior engineers in all areas of product design.
- Interface with Analog design engineers both to define an optimize sensor architectures and to interface to analog sensors circuits.
- Synthesis and timing analysis of the block level design to meet area and speed targets
- Work with the physical design team to close floorplan, clock tree synthesis, timing closure and power estimation
- Coordinate the verification team in providing verification requirements and debugging and root causing issues
- Work with system architect and SW team to define microarchitecture and create functional specifications of MEMS sensor digital hardware blocks
Job Location: Milan, Italy
They could be working with the Milan office of Bosch or STMicro.
