For those who don't think AOL's stock price is subject to games:

On 5/21 when AOL announced this week's analysts meeting Cowen
went on the wire hyping expectation of major positive announcements.
Since then the stock rose 12% in anticipation.

So far, including Case's talk at the National Press Club, nothing
new has been announced and the Dow Wire reports "No major news is
expected to come out of the meetings, according to a spokeswoman for
the company."

But the stock's down only 1.125 while the market tanked 63.

The game is to raise the level with bs, knowing that it won't back
down nearly as much unless there's negative news.

I have never seen a stock about which analysts so frequently
`reiterate buy recommendation'. Cowen and others do it with
AOL at least every month or so, using any news as excuse.

Just keep the story churning...................
