Choose, it's been a busy day and I'm just getting to replying to you.
I would be interested in your interpretation of the article, but I agree that by now it is ollllld, on the thread, certainly.
Yes, it was me writing about our two Golden Retrievers. We live in a relatively isolated house, with woods all around. We are aware of coyotes, and occasionally see one around the outskirts of town. We keep our girls behind a 4-foot picket fence in our backyard. We live in Maine, where bears and moose are also common. So we do worry a bit about these critters. But we never leave our dogs in the yard when we are not home, and figure that we would hear some furious barking if something were to occur while we're in the house. If it turned out to be a bear, I'm not exactly sure what our plan is. (ggg)
As to this thread, a lot of wild things are said here (I know I do my share), but I don't think any of us should ever take them personally. I think a lot of what goes on here amounts to challenging other people's views, kind of a verbal (non-violent) form of combat. I have lived at times in the deep south, and I like everything about it except for the heat.
Best regards,
