Had I realized Spotify's CEO was a Swede at the time he starting fighting back against Apple, I would have invested in them at the time. Apple Music stinks compared to Spotify, I couldn't wait to get rid of it early last year under the 3-month free trial. Once enabled, it tries to turn everything into streaming and hides your own ripped and owned music files. The same ones Apple's original software (a rebranded SoundJam MP purchased from Casady & Greene) did for you from your CD and vinyl record collections. It has also replaced customers' own carefully curated cover art, and they've force installed music software for FREE because Tim Apple and his minions are as arrogant as the frontman for the band who help make it happen. Don't like rock music, just classical? Too bad, watch our free music software pushed into your iTunes from the cloud because WE know better than YOU what you want! We needed to make a marketing splash, who cares what you want, you're merely our customers! How Dare you! Customers said it felt like a gargantuan torpedo launched from a Nazi World War II U2 submarine or something. A giant turd of a rock album marring an otherwise perfectly set up music collection; or perhaps more like missiles launched from a Socialist country at U-2 spy plane. :-) Steven P. Jobs must be doing about 45rpm rolling over in his grave when seeing decisions like that being made. :-(
