First of all the income tax relief is not permanent as it is just a two year deal,nothing long lasting here just a band aid.

Public works spending might create some jobs and give the economy a little boost but nothing spectacular.

Didn't they spent some 80 billion dollars a few years ago to kick start the economy,if I recall that didn't work very well either. If we were to go by the general market reaction and the opinions of various experts this thing isn't going to help much at all.

Finally Bob Rubin applauded the move but said more needs to be done or something like that.Just my two 'paisa' worth or is it 'anna'??
