Democrats and Republicians, Whats the difference?

skymachines.com

This post is not to decide who is better or worse but to bring forth some thoughts as to what may likely happen in the case of a political change being that the elections are very close.

And be it that this is not a presidential election some cards are still on the table to be played. Mostly the control of both the house and the Senate by the republicians.

Having control of both is like being givin the key to the money safe, get all you want, whos going to stop you.

I am not saying spending money is a bad thing , hasnt hurt anything yet, It appears that we can print all we want, because we do, and nobody seems to care,

Spending money doesnt hurt the economy either as we have poured billion into it to keep it going. The american way of life as we know it continues.

The chart above shows the presidents and there results as far as the Nation Debt is concerned during there terms in office.

Notice that Carter and Clinton where democrats while all others where Republicians. There records speak for there partys.

Democrats attempt to balance the budget, Republician tend to unbalance the budget.

So this is what I am seeing as far as the election is concerned.

A Republican victors would mean continued spending and buisness booming and money is poured into the system. Buisness as usually.

But if the Democrats were to get into control and start cut backs or block spending appropriations especially in the time that a recession looms may be viewed as a bad thing for the economy.

These are just thoughts, as to what may happen to the economy after the upcoming elections, and what it may mean to the markets.

I must disclose that I am a Democrat, and this is not a politically motivated writing to sway anyone one way or the other. I do not wish to discuss politics on this board other than what possibiltiy that it may have to the markets. This is welcomed.
