Anyone else starting to get the feeling that the stock market mania has not ended, especially on the Nasdaq?

People still seem to want to buy tech "bargains" as late as this winter.

On the other hand, a lot of the DOW old economy stocks may maintain their levels simply because they can repurchase stock if it starts to dip...and any dollar weakness also works to their benefit.

I cannot see too many Nasdaq companies that are buying back shares other than to offset the dilution from employee stock options. Also noticed that non-techs will use the valuation arguments in their announcments while techs don't.

As a guess, I would say that the nasdaq losses can be about 3 to 4 times greater than the Dow on a percentage basis. On a smaller decline on the Naz, I would be willing to bet that the DOW actually gains.

jmho.
