The market is not near perfect either, I made 192% trading mutual funds on margin, not posible in a near perfect market. Successful LBO artists and arbitrageurs disprove the perfect market theory on a daily basis. BTW I'm glad you enjoy bungee jumping. Personally though, wild horses couldn't drag me off of a 600 foot cliff :-)
