Just Wondering- Is it possible that ML took John Rendall off margin and thereby forced the shares that were probably loaned out to shorts to be covered? I am wondering if this was in fact what happened then why was ML worried about having a big short position in Solvex.
Could it be that they know something is very close and they know what is going to happen to the share price? Maybe they feel that some of their short customers will not be able to cover their position and ML will have to since they loaned out the shares. Maybe they are thinking that the risk is not worth the reward at this point.
I am just trying to think of all the things this last development could be telling us and this is just one of my thoughts.
This is the one I hope is right.

IMO
