The issue of Jerusalem isn't 100% connected with the existence of the state of Israel. Its a hard issue to deal with, but it doesn't require the elimination of Israel as currently constituted, at most it would be an adjustment of its borders. It isn't simple, and for now may not be possible to resolve the situation, but its simpler and probably more possible than to get either the Israelis or the Palestinians to accept and then continue to follow your vision of Pasreal.

Yeah I agree, I used to offer two solutions to the Israel-Pal problem with the 1st being united Pasreal and the 2nd being an Israel which excludes Jerusalem, but presenting two solutions at once was too confusing on this chat board format, so I stopped throwing out option 2. Muslim objection to having one of their most holy sites and cities under Jewish rule, when it has for centuries been under Muslim rule, is pretty understandable. But take Jerusalem out of the equation and if they still object flat out to a Jewish nation, period, well that's pretty unreasonable, IMO.

The other sort of problem with Israel-Pal now is that Israel basically bisects the West Bank and Gaza. Seems a pretty strange way to build a new nation called Palestine - put a Jewish homeland right in the middle of it. Sure, why not?
