I've been doing the same on a few, buys at the bid and sells on the ask...and on slow movers, little volume, and ugly spreads.

Now anytime there is a big spread, I'll go in on the bid to begin with. They don't take it, I'll move to the ask, but not for long...they don't fill fast, I move it back down.

LOL I don't know if it actually accomplishes anything, but it's fun to watch the MM's moves, and sometimes, bingo...a fill when you least expect it.
