Dear Lee: I checked your profile, I see you and I are the same age (56) isnt this technological "revolution" we have witness JUST in our lifetimes INCREDIBLE? Can you imagin we have HARDLY scratched the surface? I bet you, like myself, were standing on a school grounds when the USA launced its first "grapefruit" satellite. Remember how the Russians named it that? Remember when you went back inside the Principal announced God Bless America and shortly thereafter, we, the students, learned that at a very minimum we now had to have two years of Algebra to graduate? No longer could we "get by" with general math. Well, it all started THAT DAY. Now, we are beginning to reap the benefits of a better educated student body. USA has finally matched its vast financial resources to its vast technology. What you are seeing is the USA straddling the Globe with a huge lead in Technology which will continue to propel us into the future. Europe in particular and Asia as time progresses is striding to try and catch up. This means GREAT BUSINESS for our Global technology firms, now and for at least 6 years (and that is if we only stood still technically).
Secondly, I see you call yourself a Trader! OK, I will admit that the vagarities of the market could mean a down period now and again, BUT in the long term there is only ONE POSSIBLE DIRECTION for us and that direction is UP. JDN
