Ah, but Blue, you seem to be assuming exclusivity. If woman were in love with a disabled man who could not satisfy her sexual needs, I would hope she would make arrangements with a friend or mechanically or just with her to satisfy her needs. I don't think there is any need to blab about these things. I dare say there are thousands of quite romantic stories of this sort that people are too ashamed even to imagine. If a man loved a woman and because of distance or marriage entanglements, I see nothing disloyal in the lovers having sex with their spouses. Sex with strangers might be a little much. But I absolutely reject the idea that one lover owns all of sexual access to the lover. This is an idea left over from days of imperfect contraception and primitive morality where sex was focused on increasing the population of the tribe. I know it is very difficult for many raised in restrictive moral environments, but I think exclusivity of access without constant proximity is just unfair to people of different tastes and sexuality. There are people of both sexes who are acutely uncomfortable without daily or more frequent coition. There are others who can go for years without sex although someone they claim to love is lying in bed with them every night. Strange, isn't it? Love and sex are very different emotions. When by chance or preexploration they are in synch, life can be very exciting and fulfilling. For most of us, however, this is not a state we can achieve. People work out very different ways of resolving their problems. None of these solutions seem to fit in with the bogus morality of a crazed celibate convert (Paul) 2000 years ago.
