The bottom? Have we seen the bottom? Comments? I guess my stream of thinking would be as follows: Downs: Recent downgrades on Detroit (GM and Ford). Iraq going nonlinear, major loss of life (tbd). Ups: Continued record improvements in domestic productivity. Wireless the next competition frontier....new applications beginning to get traction: (still) picturephone at last? Iraq situation resolved, minimal loss of life (tbd). Dog pile: FCC makes transfer rate accounting realistic, to the pain of BOCs (SBC in particular), but at the same time manages to hold the status quo of very (glacial) slow push in local competition. Or will the latest ruling kick off a new wave in local? -Own
