dli, I agree with you completely and 'growth' stocks have been overdone. However, I also believe this needs to be evaluated on a case by case basis - especially if one has a long term viewpoint. In 10 years time there are probably quite a few growth stocks currently at very high P/E's that will outperform more reasonably P/E stocks. And I'm obviously not refering to large companies in a saturated sector whose revenues are slowing and earnings are created by smoke and mirror accounting tricks.
