MUD LAKE BULK SAMPLE UPDATE

Snowfield Development Corp. (“Snowfield” or the “Company”) announces that it has contracted RTL Robinson Enterprises Ltd. (Robinson, RTL) of Yellowknife, NWT. to supply crew and equipment, as needed, to expedite the removal of the remaining granite that was blasted to provide access to the Mud Lake kimberlite sill. A Robinson crew has been dispatched to widen the winter ice road from Yellowknife to the Ticho project. This will facilitate the shipment of the kimberlite bulk sample to the DeBeers Canada Exploration Ltd. Plant in Grande Prairie, AB. Robinson has reported that the ice condition and thickness is excellent. RTL Robinson is one of the largest contractors in Northern Canada and has many years experience in Northern winter operations and ice road construction, and Snowfield is confident that Robinson’s expertise and equipment will expedite the removal and shipment of the 500 tonne diamondiferous bulk sample.

The fact that Snowfield can take a sample of this size from the Mud Lake kimberlite is indicative of the Ticho Project’s location, being only 55 km from Yellowknife, NWT. and accessible by ice road in the winter and barge in the summer with air access year-round. This ease of access greatly enhances Snowfield’s exploration abilities on the approximately 16,000 ha (40,000 acres) that comprise the Ticho Project.

Exploration drilling has restarted at Sipper Lake, approximately 1 km north east of Mud Lake. Updates on this drill program can be expected shortly

On behalf of the Board of Directors,

Snowfield Development Corp.
