If/when they start paying a dividend, preferreds get paid first (before common is paid). These are 'cumulative' preferreds so you get the dividend for each quarter that was suspended (to date one quarter) and then the current quarter if/when announced.

I now buy only preferreds that are cumulative as those that are not, you are never made square on the dividends you missed.

Nice move today in UAN +16.8% on almost 2x ADV. Maybe the bottom is in for this fertilizer company. Did not see any other similar move in the other fertilizer companies like MOS +1% or YARIY +0.2%. Wonder if Ichan is buying shares to increase his holdings?

UAN is a variable div payer so maybe we could see their dividend start up again.
