I am making this tart: realsimple.com with different fruit I had apples and pluots - so I sliced an apple very thinly, and made an outer ring of apple slices (tossed in sugar) and then made an inner starburst of deep red pluot slices. It's quite lovely before baking- we shall see how it turns out. I took pictures of "before", and if it works, i'll show you before and after- or at least I'll put them on my blog (see link in the header to this thread.) I hope it works. It's damn easy.
