Just as a data point - I've been using SI well over 20 years several times a day from many different countries around the world as I'm usually traveling. I've never even once that I can remember experienced a slowdown. It's always instantaneous whether using my phone's hotspot or an Airbnb/hotel wifi. I've always used a Chromebook if that might make a difference. I probably log on and read messages 5 or 6 times per day. But I rarely post anything if that's where the slowdowns happen. I'll edit this and let you know if I experience anything less than instantaneous posting of my reply.
