"She wasn't doing classified work,"

Where do you get this? She was working on the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and it certainly was classified. True, she was working out of an office, but the company was a cover.

"nor was she apparently too secretive about being a CIA employee"

Yeah, Shorty makes this claim all the time. But he can't back it up from any reputable source. I doubt if you can either.

"but she may have done classified work in the past"

May have hell. She had NOC status. It doesn't get any more classified than that. Which renders the whole "nor was she apparently too secretive about being a CIA employee" total nonsense. And an agent who has held NOC status is going to be especially careful about public knowledge of their CIA connections. Especially in DC, once that is known, sooner or later it is going to be traced back to their activities out of country. And that endangers the people they were working with overseas. Plus any other operatives that may be there. Because anyone she came in contact with would be under a cloud of suspicion.
