Thanks for posting this piece. I've long anticipated this sort of eighth wonder of the world approach to storage. It makes sense from a needs perspective, since the storage problems now being experienced by data center managers is outpacing their ability to cope without resorting to cannibalizing the budgets of adjacent IT areas. Whether such a concept ever receives enterprise buy-in, due to concerns over reliability and security, is another story entirely. Thanks.
