Ali,

When Intel realizes it can't preserves its huge profit margins, the dividend will be cut or removed. Of course it is so small and may not be big deal. As I recall, when Intel announced its first dividend, the stock jumped multiple points. When it announced another small dividend hike, shares jumped few more. I have seen stock drop big time when dividends are lower. Your guess are as good as mine what will happen if Intel decides to cut. I would watch for insiders' actions. They seem to know when the axe will fall.
